About Apptile
In 2021, Rohit Modi co-founded Apptile with Vishal Sood and Samyam Annappa. The idea was to provide technical expertise to e-commerce businesses. The company also provides support on design and developer productivity.
The recent funding would support the company’s first-of-its-kind no-code platform to offer hyper-personalized app-building capabilities to local merchants based on Shopify. Earlier, such features were only available to bigger brands.
“In the past 15 years, the development of mobile apps has not kept up with the widespread adoption of mobile devices. We strongly believe in the potential of mobile apps as a retention channel, at par with email and SMS,” Rohit Modi, co-founder and CEO of Apptile, said in a statement.
Modi founded the Singapore-based interior designing company Livespace and acted as its Cheif Technical Officer before co-founding Apptile.
Talking about the recent development, Modi said: “Apptile’s no-code platform enables easy and quick creation of stunning mobile apps that integrate seamlessly with third-party services, empowering DTC merchants to build strong brands and drive meaningful growth by cultivating customer loyalty and increasing their lifetime value”.
Development And Expansion
Ramakant Sharma expressed excitement after investing in Apptile’s vision to democratize world-class mobile apps. He believes that the platform will not only empower businesses of small sizes but also provide personalized mobile-first experiences for their customers.
“So far, owing to the complexity and cost of creating and maintaining mobile apps, this has been a prerogative of major brands only. This is a large opportunity, and due to the strength of the team and the product, Apptile is well placed to capitalize on it,” said Sharma.
Apptile has ensured in a statement that the latest funding will be used for further development and expansion of its team. The company’s ultimate goal is to offer merchants an unmatched solution to use the mobile sales channel.
Apptile has offices across India, the United States and the United Kingdom.
