Artificial intelligence-based recommendation engine Argoid has launched a product recommendation app on Shopify. “Drive 10X more revenue to your Shopify store,” Argoid Product Recommendations app mentions on its website. Affordability And Big Claims
Shopify merchants can offer a personalized experience to their customers using Argoid Product Recommendations, launch price of which has been set only $50 per month. While one can opt for a 14-day free trial before buying a subscription, Argoid promises an immediate increase in sales, as mentioned on its Shopify app store page.
“We are committed to driving profitability for your store. Stores using Argoid see value from Day 1 and recover costs in 14 days,” the company claims.
Real Time Recommendations
Based on AI technology, Argoid offers recommendations, which can be customised for each customer. After studying consumers behavior successfully, it highlights attractive deals for them in the recommendation sliders. Attractions like Top Deals, Latest Arrivals and Similar Products can be highlighted using Argoid. It offers the option to keep these sliders on any or all pages of the online store.
“Increase your sales, average order value, and conversion rate with Amazon-like product & search recommendations for every page on your store,” Argoid says in the app store, promising to boost customer lifetime value.
According to McKinsey, 35% of Amazon’s revenue is generated by its recommendation engine.

Helping Struggling Stores
In a press release, Argoid CEO Gokul Muralidharan said with the recommendations app, his team wants to help online stores that otherwise struggle against e-commerce giants like Amazon and Alibaba. “We are here to disrupt the system, enabling and growing eCommerce players. We’re solving real, substantial shopper problems, giving them individualized experiences and product discovery,” he said.
The app is easy to use and can be set up within five minutes. “We take pride in our setup time. Set aside exactly 5 minutes for setup, and that’s it. We’ll take care of the rest,” Argoid says. The merchants can integrate this app with latest Shopify themes and customise further as per the store’s designing requirements.
