Nextech AR Solutions, a Canadian Metaverse company announced the upgradation of Shopify app ARitize 3D, with the launch of ARitize Configurator. Nextech AR provides augmented reality experience technologies and 3D modelling services for e-commerce brands. It has reportedly registered a 40 percent conversion rate for ARitize 3D, with 124 merchants in paid plan subscriptions and 312 downloads.
It is only a matter of time before all brands and businesses will need to shift and embrace new 3D modelling technologies to gain an edge over the competition. Brands must invest in 3D models, or they will risk being left behind by their competitors.

How Does it Work?
ARitize Configurator lets e-commerce sites display multiple product variations from a single 3D model, acting as the basis for an extended product portfolio. Customers can change colours, materials, parts and textures in real-time 3D as per their needs and interests. In addition to it, customers can also place their customised 3D product in any desired location and check how it would look in a particular space. The tool allows customers to check products from every possible angle and position them appropriately before purchasing, thus enhancing their shopping experience.
ARitize Availability
It is available in the ARitize 3D app in the Shopify merchant store. Nextech incorporates both product configurations and 3D model making, providing a one-stop solution for online stores. Merchants on Shopify can subscribe to different plans as per their requirements. The app can be easily managed from the merchant Shopify admin. Shopify merchants can also embed a configurator onto their PDP without modifying code- enabling an easy drag and drop on the product page as per the requirement.
Large Appetite For 3D Models
Nextech AR CEO Evan Gappelber said, “Over the past several years, e-commerce sales have sky-rocketed on Shopify and Amazon. Customers are shopping more online and making more purchases online than ever before in new categories like furniture due to 3D models and AR. In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before all brands and businesses will need to shift and embrace new 3D modelling technologies to gain an edge over the competition. Brands must invest in 3D models, or they will risk being left behind by their competitors.”
“We are seeing strong momentum in our business and are working with the largest e-commerce Prime Marketplace as well as others who have a very large appetite for 3D models. We have what I believe is the highest-quality AI-powered 3D modelling and configuration technology that’s now available on Shopify which is another major ecommerce merchant platform,” he adds.
