Moving BlocOut off a CMS that held it back
BlocOut, a blinds brand, wanted freedom from a CMS that was holding the business back. FelleMedia migrated the store to Shopify Plus and delivered a custom website and app solution, designed around improving the experience for both customers and staff. FelleMedia reports that scaling is no longer a technical concern for BlocOut, and the two continue to partner for growth. In its review, BlocOut says the site "has already received great feedback and is performing well."
A custom builder app and an extended Shopify CMS
The work had two audiences. For BlocOut's customers, FelleMedia built a custom builder app. For BlocOut's staff, FelleMedia extended Shopify's CMS to fit their needs.
What the BlocOut homepage shows
The project images show a header with menus to shop by blind type, room type and fabric, alongside Buying Guides and Why BlocOut menus, search, account and cart icons. Below sits a full-width hero section with a headline and a call-to-action button.
