A personalisation app wired into Boomf's card production
Boomf sells personalised exploding cards and greeting cards. For the store, Voodoo Ecom built a custom Shopify app that adds personalisation to products: images, messages and add-ons. The personalisation is then used by a PDF generator at the production plant to print and fulfil orders. The custom theme passes parameters to the app and opens different app instances once a specific variant is selected.
Moving 4 million users off a custom platform
Before Shopify, Boomf ran on a custom platform. Voodoo Ecom reports that 4 million users were migrated to Shopify as part of the project, alongside the custom theme and the personalisation app that connect the storefront to order production.
