Moving a 1954 slide film maker from WooCommerce to Shopify
Magyar Diafilmgyártó was founded in 1954, and Color and Code describes it as unique in Europe for preserving the tradition of slide film production, a medium that remains popular in the region. The brand asked Color and Code to migrate its store from WooCommerce to Shopify, and the agency built the full store with a redesign. The project images show the homepage layout: a header with search, wishlist, account and cart icons, and a large hero section that pairs an illustrated slide film title with a call-to-action button.
Consultancy and monthly maintenance for the Diafilm store
The work did not end with the build. Color and Code continues to provide consultancy and monthly maintenance for Diafilm. In its review, Diafilm says it commissioned Color and Code in April 2023 to design a website which "not only functions as a webshop, but also plays an important role in creating our unique profile, the Diafilm brand." The brand adds that the team "assessed our needs and based their proposal on the wide range of options offered by Shopify."
