Inside the project
A custom theme for an algae-based paint maker
Peinture Algo makes and distributes natural, eco-friendly paints made from algae, and brought in Lamour du Shop to take its Shopify store up a gear. The work combined a 100% custom theme, mobile-first UX/UI research and a reworked product page that the agency calls its "Ultimate Product Page" and its secret sauce. The project images show a homepage with a full-width hero section, a call to action to browse the paint shades, and a header with menu, search, account and cart.
Native features in place of apps, and the reported numbers
Part of the brief was replacing installed apps with native features, alongside the custom theme and the mobile-first research. Lamour du Shop reports that the numbers speak for themselves: a +43% mobile conversion rate, +100% keywords on Google's first page and -33% loading time.
