In charge of the migration from BASE to Shopify. We renewed an e-commerce site for the Japanese domestic market. Rather than migrating the design and functionality as they were, we also worked to improve the UI/UX based on hearings with the client. On the design side, we selected a theme suited to a small number of SKUs. We organized the content and created banners and icons that fully showcase the qualities of the products while conveying them intuitively. By adopting a clean color palette throughout, we gave the site a clean image. On the functional side, we installed chat, review and shipping-simplification apps. So that the client could handle day-to-day operations in-house, we provided training on how to use Shopify features and the apps.
