The United Kingdom-based digital financial services company Wamo has announced Shopify affiliation to help small and medium-sized businesses with banking and financial services. Wamo promises to provide an end-to-end solution to combine banking with e-commerce.

Wamo has also promised to provide an intelligent B2B and B2C experience to its customers. This highly customized plan aims to help boost their online sales. The company developed this solution with the help of e-commerce specialists and active businesses.

How Wamo Works?

With Wamo, Shopify merchants can track their income from online sales. It keeps a record of all checkouts completed on the Shopify store. While it makes accepting payments more effortless than ever, Wamo also provides insights based on customer behaviour to help small businesses grow.

Wamo boasts of complete transparency with its new solution as users get timely notifications about when the funds are settling when they are available for pickup and when they can be spent. While it helps Shopify merchants from all across the globe, Wamo recently allowed its customers to set up UK-incorporated companies using its mobile app and official website. For this, Wamo charges them a fee of 99 British pounds.

Once registered on Wamo, merchants quickly get access to tools that help in starting, managing and growing an e-commerce business. The solution enables merchants to sell products from one single location, promising smooth banking and e-commerce services.

About Wamo

Wamo has a record of tremendous growth, which might reflect in services provided to customers. Until September 2022, the company had raised earnings of €1.75 million and its total transactions had reached €350 million. Launched in 2021, Wamo now serves over 3000 merchants, a base that is expected to rise exponentially with the new offering. The company has estimated more than €500 million in transactions by the end of 2022 and thrice that amount in 2023.

With the base in the UK, Wamo is available for merchants in Europe, 30 countries, and over 80 nationalities across the globe.

Shopify’s ERP Programme

Managing finances has never been easy for independent merchants. Those based on Shopify have solutions like Wamo and Shopify’s own Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programme, which operates globally to help European merchants. European ERP solution is provided by Actindo, JTL, Afterbuy, Pickware, and plentymarkets and helps Shopify in its expansion. Germany’s Xentral, Itsperfect from the Netherlands, and Spain’s EV4 and Holded are among country-specific partners in Shopify’s ERP programme.

Shopify claims to help millions of merchants sell products across the internet. Its ERP programme ensures smooth operations within the Shopify store by providing the back office to work on the right insights to make the right decision. The centralised system connects Shopify with the companies’ inventory and finance to optimise their operations and processes.

“Compared to other parts of the world, merchants across Europe have different commerce needs and requirements to serve their customers in the most effective way,” Deann Evans, Director of EMEA expansion & partnerships at Shopify, said as quoted by enterprisetimes.co.uk.

“Thanks to the launch of the local ERP programme, merchants now have the power to reduce the complexity of their business. They can work with trusted partners which understand their regional needs. After all, the future of commerce is not Direct to Consumer, but Connect to Consumer,” Evans added.
