Email Tracking Shopify Apps — Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which email tracking app ranks #1 on Shopify?
Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy currently ranks #1 for email tracking apps on the Shopify App Store and holds 33.8% market share (-5.66pp vs 30 days ago). Rankings refresh weekly — see the trend chart above for how this position has changed over time.
2. How are email tracking Shopify apps ranked?
Rankings on this page reflect each app's position in Shopify's keyword search results for "email tracking", which Shopify computes from a mix of merchant install volume, review velocity, and recency. Apps beyond position #22 receive zero traffic in our market share calculation since merchants rarely scroll that far.

BLOOP Referral & Affiliate has shown the strongest ranking momentum among email tracking apps, climbing 3 positions to #7 over the past 30 days. Sort the rankings table by Rank Change (Low to High) to surface the full set of recent gainers.
4. How often do email tracking app rankings change on Shopify?
Email Tracking rankings have been notably stable over the past 30 days — most of the top 5 held their positions, suggesting an established competitive order. Rankings are crawled weekly, so significant moves usually take 2–4 weeks to show up.
5. Which email tracking apps lost rank positions recently?
BixGrow Affiliate Marketing dropped the most among the top 10 tracked email tracking apps, slipping 1 position to #3 over the past 30 days. Switch the table sub-tab to "Ranking Changes" to see all decliners ordered by movement size.
6. How many email tracking apps does ShopDigest track on Shopify?
ShopDigest tracks 96 email tracking apps on the Shopify App Store. The full list is paginated in the table above — adjust the date range and sort order to drill into any window.
7. Why don't apps ranked beyond #22 show market share for email tracking?
For keyword pages, market share is rank-weighted: position #1 carries roughly 40× the weight of position #22, and apps beyond #22 receive zero weight. This reflects Shopify search behaviour — merchants almost never scroll past the top of the results, so positions further down don't translate to installs.
