Delivery-date shipping and click-and-collect for handmade cakes
Patisserie Valerie sells handmade cakes from a Shopify Plus store. Several of the custom features Red Symbol Technologies lists deal with how a cake order gets delivered or collected: a customised private delivery app on checkout, a click-and-collect page app, a postal code search and shipping rates set by delivery date. Behind the storefront, a print-to-kitchen app, an order webhook and order updates run by cron handle orders once they are placed.
ShipStation, Flipdish and the Patisserie Valerie storefront
Red Symbol Technologies also built a custom ShipStation app, a Flipdish integration app, a coffee product popup, and the frontend design with a responsive theme. The project images show a homepage header with product search and navigation for birthdays, gifts and hampers, cakes, brownies, cupcakes and bites, and weddings, followed by a seasonal hero section.
