Inside the project
Custom lens options built on Shopify's product APIs
The VR Wave store is built around tailor-made prescription lens adapters for headsets such as the Meta Quest 3 and Oculus Quest 2. Red Symbol Technologies set up a custom product with custom options using Shopify's product APIs, and wrote a custom script on the Shopify product variant API that automatically updates variants and removes old ones from the product. Product items with the custom options were managed as part of the same work.
Cart page, banners and a theme 2.0 storefront
Alongside the product setup, the work covered a cart page managed with a custom script, banner design and a mobile responsive theme 2.0. In VR Wave's review, the client says Red Symbol Technologies helped build a custom app on Shopify and also website design, and that they have been hiring the team for more than three years.
