Material Manager keeps raw material and bill of materials (BOM) inventory in sync with your Shopify products that have shared inventory. Link component inventory to variants once, every sale updates raw material and product stock instantly. Built for on-demand, bespoke, and pre-assembled production across multi-locations. Manage pre-built variant stock alongside raw materials so you never oversell. Generate purchase orders, set low-stock alerts, run inventory forecasting and import/export.
This Shopify app provides inventory management capabilities, particularly for tracking shared materials across multiple products, enabling users to adjust quantities and monitor remaining stock efficiently. Its straightforward setup and affordable pricing make it accessible, while its functionality is well-suited for businesses like crafting kits that require material-level tracking. The app’s support team is responsive, often implementing requested features promptly. However, some users encounter technical issues, such as a non-functional interface, and the lack of a visible support contact or free trial option may hinder troubleshooting. Despite these limitations, the app is noted for its continuous improvements and practical utility in managing complex inventory needs.
For any questions, concerns, or assistance with Material Manager, the dedicated support team is readily available to help. Schneller Support. Die App hilft mir wirklich sehr meinen Warenbestand im Blick zu haben.
Thanks for the help. I really enjoy the ease and simplicity of this material manager app.
This is a great app for inventory recording that is actually easy to set up. It does work seamlessly even with what I consider complicated inventory tracking like mine. Initially I tried to set this up as I assumed it would be set up. However their support is great in both responsiveness and expertise. Joe, was instrumental in helping me understand the way it should actually be set up and it was honestly so easy. This will save me so much wasted time not needing to use spreadsheets and it will create a better work flow with more immediate inventory adjustments. I highly recommend this app. Sue (The Scent Garden)
I LOVE this app!!! It helps me track inventory of all the components of my products and packaging very easily! I sell greeting cards D2C and B2B and am able to track the greeting card, envelope, cello bag, backer cards, band & sticker for packaging when I sell wholesale sets. It's easy to set-up and assign everything. It also allows me to create purchase orders and check in inventory and capture if there is any rejected inventory. In addition, their support is phenomenal! They have been able to answer my questions and troubleshoot when I've made some user-errors, and get back to me so quickly. I can't recommend this app enough!
I've been really impressed by this app. It's simple and effective and doesn't make you jump through hoops with random structures, or approaches. Just assign a material to a product and the end. As we need, it's focused on raw inputs and materials. The adjustment history is also very convenient and cleanly designed. The integration within Shopify is also very clean and accessible from multiple parts on the store. Finally, the support has also been incredibly responsive. Also the price is right, finally a developer who gets it. Extremely happy thus far!

working good for us. we build up about 20 skus from 8 materials, and the system here is easy to use for tracking use.
Great inventory management system for small businesses, love the BOM production for the Orders and the customer service is prompt and helpful. Very happy with our experience so far.
Excellent app for managing our wine stocks where we have both single bottles but also cases and mixed cases made up of different wines - caters for this perfectly.
ShopDigest is an independent directory of Shopify work. Developers, agencies and experts publish the projects they’ve actually shipped — migrations, rebuilds, custom apps, headless storefronts — with the results attached.
For merchants, that means judging a partner on evidence instead of a sales page: browse real builds in your category and budget, then reach out directly. For builders, it means one profile that keeps working after the project ships.
No commissions, no pay-to-rank placements. The best work rises because people save and follow it.
More about ShopDigestA portfolio directory for the Shopify ecosystem — builders publish, merchants browse, nobody buys a better position.
