Export Shopify Apps — Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which export app ranks #1 on Shopify?

2. How are export Shopify apps ranked?
Rankings on this page reflect each app's position in Shopify's keyword search results for "export", which Shopify computes from a mix of merchant install volume, review velocity, and recency. Apps beyond position #22 receive zero traffic in our market share calculation since merchants rarely scroll that far.

4. How often do export app rankings change on Shopify?
Export rankings show a mixed pattern — some leaders hold steady while challengers in positions #2–#10 reshuffle. Use the date range filter to compare any two snapshots.
5. Which export apps lost rank positions recently?
Altera ‑ Export and Import dropped the most among the top 10 tracked export apps, slipping 1 position to #2 over the past 30 days. Switch the table sub-tab to "Ranking Changes" to see all decliners ordered by movement size.

7. Why don't apps ranked beyond #22 show market share for export?
For keyword pages, market share is rank-weighted: position #1 carries roughly 40× the weight of position #22, and apps beyond #22 receive zero weight. This reflects Shopify search behaviour — merchants almost never scroll past the top of the results, so positions further down don't translate to installs.
